INGREDIENTS
2 c. TAB (30 mL) flour
2 c. TAB (30 mL) sugar
2 c. to tab (30 ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 c. tsp (0.5 ml) of baking powder
1/4 tsp. tsp (1 ml) vanilla
3 c. to tab (45 mL) sour cream
1 c. to tab (15 mL) milk
1 oz (30 g) chopped bittersweet chocolate
PREPARATION
1. In a large measuring cup, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa and baking powder. Add vanilla, sour cream and milk and mix until the dough is smooth and no more. Stir in chocolate. Spread batter into two buttered ramekins.
2. Cook on high in microwave, a ramekin at a time, for about 1 minute or until the brownies are slightly firm to the touch.
The trick boost
The cooking time depends on the desserts power of our microwave and size cups, pots or ramekins used. The important thing is to cook one portion at a time and check for doneness before reaching the suggested time. Then continuing cooking, 10 to 15 seconds at a time.
