INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup (180 mL) brown sugar
1 cup (250 mL) maple syrup
1/2 cup (125 ml) of 35% cream
1 c. TAB (15 ml) corn syrup
1/4 tsp. tsp (1 ml) sea salt
PREPARATION
1. In a heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar, maple syrup, cream and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, without stirring, for about 15 minutes or until sauce is slightly reduced. Add sea salt and mix. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. (The sauce will keep for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.)
